The final chapter – I miss it already and cannot wait for Amy and Justin’s wedding in a few weeks. Watch this space!Proof that we are perfectly capable doing a ‘pull a ridiculous face’ shot!Below, the beautiful Cat, fresh back from Dubai and looking nice and tanned!Below – Brooke and Kirsty. To see pictures of Kisrty’s wedding last year see here.
As you may know, it was recently my friend’s hen do see here for pictures of where we stayed. It was such a fun weekend so I have posted some general (carefully selected) photos! We had a swimming pool which we had a great time in and got hundreds of pictures of but I don’t think my friends would appreciate me putting bikini shots on here!Amy – the bride to be! Below – Sarah and Brooke – best friends and ex housemates from when I lived in Cambridge – miss them both dearly!
Last week it was my best friend Amy’s hen do. We stayed at Felmingham Hall in Norfolk and we were all blown away by how amazing the weekend was. There was 24 of us and plenty of room for more if we needed it, the place was HUGE! We spent a long weekend there and in that time we napped, ate, drank, danced, swam, walked, talked, laughed, cried, bathed, and had a brilliant time!
Jamie Oliver and his friends recently stayed here and it was voted one of the best country retreats in England recently. There was a housekeeper who came in and cooked us breakfast, cleaned up and tidied the house every day which is always an added bonus when you’re wanting to relax!
I have so many pictures of the hen do so I have split them up into venue and each day. The other posts with what we did and who went will come soon!
I went to Cambridge where my family lives for a street party to celebrate the Jubilee after I had celebrated in London. It was idyllic and I had a great time with friends and family. I have a few shots to show you the day! The kids all went a little chalk crazy on the road next to mine!
This is me, my best friend and my dad donning some royal masks!
Thank you for reading my blog!
I spent the Queen’s jubilee weekend with my best friends and we tried to be involved in all the action as much as possible but I have to say that I didn’t manage to take very many pictures of it because I was enjoying myself too much! The atmosphere in London was buzzing and everyone I saw was happy and enjoying the celebrations.
Here are some of the pictures I did get. How did you celebrate? Did you see the Jubilee concert? I was blown away by it! Elton John singing ‘I’m still standing’ was my favourite as that is my all time favourite song (probably shame on me!)
It was my birthday yesterday and it is my best friend Amy’s Birthday today so we had a joint party with about 20 of our friends yesterday at my house. The weather was amazing and everything therefore went to plan – a very girly tea party on the lawn with a buffet style lunch/dinner and cocktails, Pimms and Champagne served all day long. We all had a fabulous time and I have some pictures here to show you the set up and a few of the party.
Homemade bunting along our balcony! These are the cherry bakewell cupcakes I made – I will do a blog post about how to make these because they are more than meets the eye!Old fashioned paper straws – LOVE!Birthday girls – I’m on the left and Amy is on the right!I made lots of really cute paper cranes to go along the windows – so cheap and lovely to add to a girly party!Thank you for reading my blog! I hope you enjoyed the lovely weather this weekend if you are in the UK. It just makes me want to smile all day long!
Nearly a year ago my good friend Kirsty married Dan and it was the most beautiful wedding so I wanted to share it with you all before they celebrate their first wedding anniversary. The day was perfect in every single was as I am sure you will see. The venue was so stunning, so English and so ideal. They got married at Longstowe Hall, near Cambridge where we are all originally from. The weather could not have been better which made all the difference – Pimms on the lawn, in the sun, listening to steel drums after celebrating their wedding was such a great feeling. The wedding colours and styles suited the venue and Kirsty perfectly!
It was such a brilliant day – had to share it with everyone else! Thank you for reading my blog….look forward to more wedding shots soon as my cousin and another of my best friends are getting married this summer!
Happy Anniversary to my lovely Mum and Dad – 35 years today! I made them this personalised card of them on their wedding day (no my Dad did not wear tartan trousers on their wedding day).
The joke behind the card is that they met in a pub and my Dad unfortunately was wearing tartan trousers at the time…. My Mum is crazy and the rest is history as they say.
I thought I would write a very short blog post to share this really pretty wedding centrepiece that my friend was given after being a bridesmaid at a wedding last week. I absolutely love the style and I think it is so pretty. One of my best friends is getting married this summer so there is a lot of talk of her wedding at the moment. Another of my friends is a wedding planner – Jennifer Wadsworth (look her up on here). Such an ideal job, looking at pretty things, planning and attending weddings – little jealous! Anyway, what do you think?
Two weeks ago I went to Sloane Square with my best friend and we had a good look around at the shops there. The farmers market was there and we planned to look around and then go to Hyde Park for a picnic lunch but as we walked around, everyone wanted us to try their food. The selection was quite amazing! Here are some shots from the market part…
We grabbed a smoothie each – I had the rejuvenator and Beal had the carrotginger….he made the mistake of asking for extra ginger……too much!Cake Pops and fudge – delicious! Cake pops are my next project, iv asked how you make them so now I just need to get on with making some! Does anyone know where I can get the lolly sticks from?
Once again, thank you for reading my blog – I am always looking for new blogs to follow so give me a shout!
